Walking the Dog

This past spring I completed the hcg diet; I lost 30lbs and gained 20lbs back over the summer.  So yesterday I decided it is time to make a change in not only my weight, but my lifestyle.  I joined weight watchers online.  It is pretty awesome; I can track everything right there and they have all kinds of helpful hints, recipes, and other resources.  Today I got up early and took Milo for a 1.5 mile walk before going to school.  Then after school, I (with Brittany and Ryan) took Milo for an almost 2 mile walk!  We also played at the park and did some training with Milo.  He is pretty good at sit, down, stay, and he recently learned high five!  He is not so good with shake though, in fact, he really hates it! We are back home now and I am hoping to get everyone to play a board game with me! Also right now I am pretty hungry, but strangely it feels good to know that I am making a smart choice for my life and my body!  Yay for healthy choices!

Last weekend I spent the day, in the pouring rain, washing the cars and vacuuming them out.  The DyNasty had so much mud caked on it, I felt really bad.  Anyhow, right after I had cleaned it all out I went on facebook and check out the Wrangell buy, trade, and sell site and found someone looking for a cheap vehicle to fix up.  I posted immediately and within a day the DyNasty had a new home.  Here is a picture of her on the last day I had her.  Believe it or not I am a little sad, she sure got me everywhere I needed to be!  Hopefully her new owner will be able to fix her up and make her run perfectly again!

Back in Alaska

Hello Family and Friends!
We made it safely back home and moved into our new place (a while ago).  Taylor and Olivia stayed for a week and we had tons of fun with them around!  After they left, we had five days to unpack and clean up our place before Dulcey and Brittany got here.  They got here and have been living with us for the last few weeks.  We all work at the school, which has been great for rides!  We really enjoy having them, unfortunately our landlord doesn't feel the same way.  They have had a really hard time finding a place.  Our friends Diane and Dave have a bed and breakfast attached to their house and they are letting the girls stay there.  It is really cute and we are excited to be able to go hang out there more often!
I have been so busy, I have not even had time to call home lately.  It is really sad.  I miss my family!  Another bummer is that our phones do not work in our house and it rains here all the time.  It makes it really difficult to find time to call!  So I apologize for not calling.
We love and miss you all very much!

We are at Nemo Point! What a view.

A view across the street from our house at dusk.  Beautiful!
